Description

This ephemeral pocket map covers the extent of Brookings County in eastern South Dakota. Sections are outlined and numbered within each individually labeled township. Schools, geographic features, transportation routes, and towns are also noted throughout. Surrounding the image is a fascinating border of contemporary advertisements that promote a flour mill, pharmacies, billiard parlor, print shop, and much more.

Printed locally by The Brookings Press Print around 1907, based on an ad on the front cover. Distributed compliments of druggist C.D. Kendall.
