Description
This large-scale plat map names the numerous property owners scattered across the former grounds of the (former) H. Austin Hacienda in southern Texas. The image presents over 22,000 acres adjacent to the Colorado River, located in the counties of Colorado and Fayette; about 12 miles west of Columbus.
Dates of sale are provided, along with the locations of relevant structures, local transportation routes, and geographic features. One notable tract, home of Dr. Adkins, is labeled Pettus’ League.
