This lovely pictorial map covers the Apulia region of southern Italy, centered on the coastal city of Bari. It was published by the Italian National Railway Tourism Agency in Rome under Benito Mussolini’s dictatorship in 1937.
The promotional brochure includes French, English, Italian, and German text on the verso, and was issued to encourage European and overseas tourism to the region. Accompanying photographs highlight many of the region’s most notable attractions.
