This quaint street plan of Palo Alto, California and the surrounding area was issued by the Thomas Brothers Map Company in 1959 to advertise for Union 76 gas stations. Main roads, important buildings, transportation hubs, and schools are all identified within the image.
Of particular interest is the campus of Stanford University, visible in the lower left. The verso lists a comprehensive street index and provides brief information on various points of interest across Palo Alto.
