Turkish translation of the U.S. Strategic Bomber Report on the Pacific Theater.

This is a Turkish reprinting of the U.S. Strategic Bombing Survey Report on the Pacific Theater. Two thematic folding maps near the end of the volume highlight the chronological development of the Japanese Empire and the major events across Asia and the Pacific. The contents were translated from their original English by Hilmi Oray. Published in Istanbul by Askeri Mataba in 1947. In the years following World War II, Turkey developed closer economic and military ties with the West, hoping to limit Soviet influence.
