The covers of this brochure claim that Miami is the outdoor sports capital of America, and the subsequent 22 pages are dedicated to supporting that claim. Photographs and text of world class fishing, hunting, tennis, golfing, sailing, gambling, and other local activities fill the contents.
Two maps are included. The inside front cover shows a charming pictorial overview of the area, with many of the aforementioned recreations and notable places illustrated in a distinctly 1930’s style. The inside back cover presents some questionable climate data to highlight how Miami’s geographic location provides consistent 70 degree weather. Also of interest on this map is the highlighted air routes to South America – a clear effort to draw in tourism from the continent.
