Description

This funky map of Orange County, California presents an interesting combination of street plan and pictorial view of the surrounding topography. Anthropomorphic oranges are shown engaged in a variety of fun activities like horse racing, skiing, and golfing. The two in the foreground (one might be an apple) are perhaps a little too realistic for comfort. Various locations of interest, identified in a number of indices on the verso, are located throughout the image.

Illustrated by Oscar Nersesian and Karen Lecocq and published, probably in the early 1970s, by American Map Manufacturing Corporation of Long Beach
