This awesome collection of maps recounts the valuable contributions of the XV Corps to Allied success in the European Theater of World War II. Under the leadership of Lieutenant General Wade H. Halsip, the unit endured over 300 days of combat across France, Germany, and Austria between July 1944 and May 1945. The XV Corps ultimately suffered nearly 29,000 casualties, but in doing so captured over 350,000 German prisoners and destroyed or captured over 1,000 German guns.
