Description
This fun bird’s eye view shows the grounds of Old Tucson Studios, a former movie studio and amusement park just west of Tucson, Arizona. The attraction got started as a movie set constructed for the 1940 film Arizona and would go on to host popular westerns like Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, Rio Bravo, and Little House on the Prairie (television series). It opened to the public in the 1960s and was a popular entertainment destination for over 40 years until closing indefinitely in 2020. T
his souvenir map was published in 1997, shortly after the studio was nearly totally rebuilt from a devastating fire two years earlier. The verso features a Wild West-style wanted poster listing the past projects at Old Tucson Studios.
