Description
This wonderful bird’s eye view provides the audience with a detailed glimpse of downtown Seattle during the early 1970s. A skillfully illustrated perspective shows dozens of individual buildings, many with their original dates of construction. Thirty-one separate locations are identified by the legend in the upper center. Surrounding the image are views of the historic city and major landmarks.
Drawn by Neil M. Fredericksen in 1971 – the same year Starbucks opened for business. Published in Seattle by Communicative & Creative Art. Distributed by the Seattle First National Bank. A second edition was issued in 1972 for the Pioneer Square Association.
