Description

This lovely map of Ohio was drawn by William Russell Willison in 1941 (signed and dated, lower right) and published by the Ohio State Archaeological and Historical Society. The history of the Buckeye State from its original indigenous inhabitants through its development during the Second Industrial Revolution is explored through an outline map, numerous vignettes, and accompanying text. The Fort Ancient Earthworks, Rufus Putnam House, and Schoenbrunn Village are just a few of the many attractions available.
