This unusual ‘road’ map of the United States was published in 2002 by Sony Music Entertainment, Inc. to promote Tori Amos’ Scarlet’s Walk U.S. Tour. The album was described by Amos as a “sonic novel about a road trip” – a theme clearly reflected in the content of the poster. Each of the album’s 18 tracks is depicted as a different segment of a transcontinental tour (which also includes Alaska and Hawaii). The Taxi Ride from Chicago to New Orleans would certainly have been expensive!
