Description

Follow the tracks of the hero Odysseus as he returns home after the Trojan War with this illustrated map, drawn by P. Martin and published in 1956 by Educational Illustrators of Urbana, Illinois. Various highlights from the classic adventure are shown in cartoonish vignettes, from Calypso’s Cave to the Land of the Cyclops.

Spoiler Alert! The ten-year voyage ended with Odysseus’ return to Ithaca as the sole survivor. He then viciously murdered the various suitors who attempted to compete for the hand of his wife, Penelope, in marriage.
