Description

This comparative diagram offers outlines of the tallest 51 structures on the globe, ranging from 68 ft. (Cleopatra’s Needle) to 1000 ft (Eiffel Tower). The majority of the entries are churches. The Eiffel Tower would retain the title of the world’s tallest freestanding structure until the completion of New York’s Chrysler Building in 1930.
