Description
This sweeping panoramic perspective is centered on the Niagara River between the villages of Queenston (Ontario) and Lewiston (New York) on the left side and the world-renowned Niagara Falls on the right. An obliquely angled view, oriented with east at the top, highlights the stark contrast between the urbanized areas around the falls and the more rural region found to the north.
The route of the Niagara Gorge Railroad is highlighted in red, with thirteen different locations of interest numbered and identified along the bottom of the page. Scenes of the mighty waterfall and the railroad’s open-air passenger cars are also provided. Transportation details, historic information, and rate tables are provided on the verso.
