Description
This beautifully illustrated map attempts to show the complex and confusing metaphysical landscapes found in the cult classic role-playing series Mother (known as Earthbound in the United States). The image is dominated by Mt. Itoi in the center, with various accessible sub-worlds, cities, and regions surrounding it. Signed in the lower right and attributed to Kenisu3000.
The artist originally created a small portion of the map for use in the vinyl release of the MOTHER soundtrack. The full poster was created and released with the MOTHER 2 soundtrack in 2015. In his DeviantArt profile, Kenisu3000 admits “this map is far from perfect-to-the-original: there are a number of spots I fudged, so please keep that in mind if you ever have the idea to use this as a walking guide through the game.”
