Description
This relatively straightforward strip map was issued (not to scale) around 1930 by the Montana State Highway Department. A linear route of approximately 700 miles connects Beach, North Dakota to Wallace, Idaho along the paths of U.S. Highways 10 and 12 – today’s Interstate 90. Distances between points are noted and various connecting highways to nearby towns and points of interest are provided.
