This attractive lithographed map of Minnesota was published by George Cram in 1896. It shows the unique railroads in operation throughout the state – each individually labeled and designated with a specific color or pattern based on the key in the center right. An inset map of St. Paul and Minneapolis is included, along with an index of the cities throughout the state.

A colorful reminder of the important impact that railroads had on development and growth throughout much of the 19th century.
