Description
The relationship between the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the motorcycle extends at least as far back as 1903 when Harley-Davidson was founded there. It has since grown into a considerable sub-culture across the region, as expressed by this colorful caricature map.
Various bars, businesses, and attractions popular among motorcyclists are vibrantly illustrated in a style very reminiscent of the 1980s. A calendar of events can be seen in the center of the page, held aloft by the crest of ABATE (American Bikers Aimed Toward Education) of Wisconsin.
Designed by Greg Grider and published locally in 1987 by MAP$ – More Advertising Per $. A Harley-Davidson officially licensed product.
