Description

This group of four sheets comprising an overall view of Mickey’s Toontown was published in 1993 to celebrate the attraction’s recent opening as part of Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The image was illustrated by artist Charles Boyer and distributed in kid’s meals as part of a corporate partnership with Burger King.

The themed land was inspired by the 1988 film Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and includes many of Disney’s most iconic characters. The map presents a wonderful mix of whimsy and reality, with abstract designs reflecting real attractions and exaggerated characters that can be found in real life (costumes).
