Description

This punchy little pictorial map/ink blotter highlights the global nature (and thus, presumably, the efficacy) of the ingredients used in Mentholatum topical ointment. Boric acid, camphor, eucalyptus, and pine oil are among the exotic components listed in the lower left. Historic events, major industries, cultural features, and racial stereotypes are among the vignettes. A rubber stamp in the lower center indicates this example was distributed by the Patterson-Shinn Drug Company of Fort Collins, CO.
