Sergeant Preston of the Yukon was a live-action television series that ran on CBS between 1955 and 1958. Viewers would watch the title hero combat outlaws, explore remote territory, and uphold the law in one of the final frontier lands in North America. This simple pictorial map of the Yukon Territory shows Sargant Preston’s stomping grounds.
Freezing temperatures, wild animals, and dangerous renegades are just a few of the dangers encountered by Preston, his trusty dog (Yukon King), and his horse (Rex). Text on the verso provides additional details on the show’s major characters and plot points. Sometimes visuals aren’t enough, and the sheet is accompanied by three double-sided 78 RPM records – ‘The Case That Made Preston A Sergeant,’ The Case of the Orphan Dog’, and ‘The Maple Leaf Forever’.
