This vibrantly colored map of Rhode Island shows the Ocean State divided into four counties, which are each further divided into towns. Each of these may still contain a number of villages or identified geographic features, providing a detailed overview of the state.
The city of Providence is prominently featured, and local railroads in operation are highlighted in orange. An inset of Block Island can be seen in the lower right. Published in Providence in 1886 by J.A. & R.A. Reid
