This interesting four page prospectus was issued by the German Bar Gold Mines, Inc. around 1933 to promote commercial interest and development in their mining claims in Central California. The short brochure includes summaries on the location, assets, history, and geology of the area; plus a map showing the Alleghany Mining District with the claims of German Bar in bold.
The text concludes with a section titled Ready for Expansion, with assurances that “by increasing the development work and opening up deeper levels, there is every possibility that this property will develop into one of the big producers of the Alleghany District in the near future.”
