Description

This detailed design plan outlines the structure of a proposed waste treatment facility for the Pennsylvania Railroad near Logansport, Indiana. A massive turntable pit, into which oil and other contaminants would drain, anchors the center of the image. This is connected to a sanitary sewer system, drainage ditches, lift station, sludge holding pond, and other remediation facilities.

The blueprint was designed by Harry B. Steeg & Associates, Inc. and is dated May, 1966 in the lower left.
