Description
“Join the literary lights of L.A. in the golden hour on a summer’s eve, at an elegant party of a reader’s dreams…You are invited to share L.A.’s rich literary history with our 20″ by 27″ full-color Literary Map of Los Angeles featuring over 150 Los Angeles literary locales.” – Front cover
This beautifully illustrated map shows a simple grid of the primary transportation routes in L.A. between Malibu, Dana Point, and Hollywood. Over 120 different locations associated with sixty-five separate literary figures are identified within and numbered at the bottom of the sheet. Portraits of several of the most notable names can be seen mingling at the top, including Ray Bradbury, Frank Baum, John Steinbeck, and F. Scott Fitzgerald – quite the party, indeed!
The map was designed and issued in 1987 by Aaron Blake Publishers, one of several literary thematic maps issued by the company.
