Description

Unlock the excitement of the 1933 Century of Progress Exposition, held along Chicago’s lakefront to celebrate the city’s 100th anniversary since its founding. The theme of the World’s Fair was technological innovation and its motto was “Science Finds, Industry Applies, Man Adapts.”

Such motifs are evident in the two relief images of notable structures – the Hall of Science and the Travel and Transportation Building. Futuristic design preferences are reflected in the Moderne architecture, used for many of the fair’s buildings and attractions.
