Description

Jurassic Park’s theatre release in 1993 saw it quickly become the highest-grossing movie of all time until eclipsed by Titanic in 1997. Though its success was in large part due to the incredible musical score, jaw-dropping special effects, incredible cast, and director – the promotional efforts may have played a small role.

This is one such example, distributed in Florida’s Universal Studios theme park. It functions as a spoof guide to the famed park on the fictitious Isla Nublar. A simple plan of the island is accompanied by general information and a few photographs of the flora and visitors center.

The adjacent text reads “Jurassic Park, a mysterious fog-shrouded island located off the coast of Costa Rica, this biological preserve holds attractions that will send kids out of their minds with excitement. Jurassic Park makes the Dark Continent look like a petting zoo!”
