Description
This antique map, oriented with north to the right, provides a topographic overview of the area around Jerusalem – a region of tremendous importance to Biblical history. Geographic features are labeled throughout, as well as important urban elements of the holy city. Panels on the left side of the sheet present views of several nearby ancient sites, including Absalom’s Pillar, Siloam, Akeldama, and the Tomb of Zechariah, plus the Pool of Bethesda.
