Description
Nobunaga’s Ambition is the first in a series of role-playing grand strategy simulation games developed by the Koei Corporation. It was first released for the personal computer in Japan in 1983 to a positive critical reception.
This game map was issued for the North American release five years later, which occurred across multiple platforms including the NES, Game Boy, and Sega Genesis. It shows a simple stylized overview of Japan with multiple different fiefs and kingdoms named. Players were tasked with uniting these various clans and achieving the ultimate goal of the famous warlord Oda Nobunaga. An illustrated poster of the daimyo can be seen on the verso.
