Description
A far cry from the harsh stereotypes commonly seen during WWII, this collection of photographs almost humanizes the Japanese people. Allegedly among the last images to leave the country prior to the outbreak of war, the scenes show a variety of aspects of Japanese culture and lifestyle. The verso shows a variety of political maps that provide up-to-date information on various war fronts across Europe and the Pacific.
The sheet was published in February 1945 by the Army Information Branch and issued as an Overseas Edition in the NEWSMAP series.
