Description
This vibrant map of Florence, Italy was illustrated by Guilio Giannian (signature, lower left) and published in 1957 by the Compagnia Italiana Turismo (CIT), the Italian State Tourist Agency. The historic city’s impressive architecture is on full display, with over fifty locations of interest illustrated and labeled at the bottom of the page. Numerous contemporary advertisements for local merchants, restaurants, and other tourist services can be seen in the borders. CIT Stations are circled in red, with additional information about available tours and services provided on the verso.

Condition Description: Folding color printed map, as issued, with moderate wear and creasing along folds. Two areas of separation, about 3" cumulatively, have been repaired on the verso with archival tape. Old rubberstamps in a few places. Good condition overall.
