Description

With a skyline dominated by the Hotel Clark, this view of Los Angeles, California isn’t exactly a realistic depiction of the city; though it does show the urban sprawl with some degree of realism. The image is looking north and includes a broad area between Santa Monica and Pasadena, with the emphasis on Hollywood likely a marketing tactic to highlight the hotel’s proximity.

Numerous attractions and important buildings are individually labeled, though none so boldly as the accommodations the map was created to promote. Further information on the hotel is available on the verso.
