Historic Downtown Las Vegas Centennial Map

Celebrating 100 years of Sin City.

This somewhat rudimentary overview of downtown Las Vegas was designed by Vance Cannon in 2003 to celebrate the city’s 100-year anniversary. Basic outlines of major buildings have been overlaid with labels and numbers, the latter of which corresponds to a list of nearly 50 locations of interest along the bottom of the page. The iconic signage of the Strip and Fremont Street are well-represented – possibly pointing to publication by the Neon Museum. Photographs of ‘old’ Las Vegas along the upper edge reflect the city’s Wild West roots.
