This stylized map of ‘Old Vegas’ was designed by Vance ‘Pukuniahi’ Cannon in 2005 as part of the centennial celebrations for Las Vegas. Sponsored by the Young Electric Sign Company (YESCO), the pamphlet is a dual-purpose piece of corporate promotion and civic pride. Dozens of sites, old and new, are numbered within the image and labeled along the bottom of the page, while other locations of interest are labeled directly on the page. Striking replicas of Fremont Street’s most famous signs are present, including Vegas Vic.
