Historic Downtown Las Vegas Centennial Map

Celebrating 100 years of Sin City.

This stylized overview of downtown Las Vegas was illustrated by Adolfo R. Gonzalez and produced by Vance Cannon in 2005 to celebrate the city’s 100 year anniversary. Basic outlines of major buildings have been overlaid with labels and numbers, the latter of which correspond to a list of nearly 50 locations of interest along the bottom of the page. The iconic signage of the Strip and Fremont Street is well-represented, reflecting the priorities of map co-sponsor Young Electric Sign Company. Photographs of ‘old’ Las Vegas along the upper edge showcase the city’s Wild West roots.
