Description
Opened in 1955, Heavenly Valley Ski Resort is located on the border of California and Nevada, near Lake Tahoe, and is one of the largest ski areas in the contiguous United States.
This group of three separate trail maps (North, West, and East) was drawn by an artist with the last name of Shedd (signed, lower left) between 1970 and 1971 and published in San Diego by American Publishers. Accompanying text describes particular features, amenities, and other pertinent information for the tourist.
