This fascinating volume was published in February 1945 by the Military Intelligence Division of the United States War Department. Marked Restricted, it was used as part of the curriculum at the Military Intelligence Training Center at Camp Ritchie, Maryland.
The contents provide a generalized overview of basic characteristics and useful features found on the maps of major participants in the war. Visual excerpts are provided, as well as translations, general information, and more. Entire chapters are devoted to the analysis of British, Italian, German, French, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese military maps.
