Multiple themes are celebrated within the map. America’s diversity is highlighted with events like Tulip Time, the Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremony, and the Old Spanish Days. A fascination with the West, love of sporting events, and pride in historical heritage are also all evident from the image and remain integral components of the American identity today. An inset map of the various routes served by the Greyhound Lines is provided in the lower left, allowing the reader a practical method for attending the various events.
