This ephemeral promotional catalog was printed in 1944 by Rand McNally & Company. Both sides of the folding sheet advertise an interesting variety of products, including globes, Special War Maps, atlases, pocket maps, and the popular HISTOMAP charts. Prices range from a dime (simple folding maps) to $57 for floor-stand globes (two on offer, the Clark and the Amundsen). The Air-Age Map of the World and the New Reference Map of Europe are among several items described in some detail. One enticing feature is the promise of a Post-War Atlas Supplement, included in each atlas priced $2.50 or more. “This supplement will be published when the War is over and will show all boundary changes as decided by the peace treaties ending the war.”
