Description
Despite a mid-season strike that derailed the scheduling, 1981 was a good year for the Los Angeles Dodgers. Rookie pitcher Fernando Valenzuela threw an Opening Day shutout, setting the tempo (Fernandomania!) for a talented team that would go on to beat the Yankees 4-2 in the World Series.
This handy little brochure offers a wealth of information for those attending games at Dodger Stadium that year. Driving directions, a parking lot plan, seating diagram, promotional nights, a telecast schedule, stadium history, rules, and much more are all provided. General admission was $2.50, parking was $2.00/car and Vin Scully was calling all the action over KABC (790 AM).
