Egypt Station

Visual tour to accompany Paul McCartney’s 2018 studio album release.

When describing his 17th solo studio album, Paul McCartney described Egypt Station as “a dream location that the music emanates from” and that “each song is like a different station.” This map, designed and issued to promote the 2018 album release visually highlights that concept.

Each track is shown on as a stop on a longer route, starting with the ‘Opening Station’ and ending with ‘Hunt You Down.’ Accompanying illustrations are lifted directly from a painting created by McCartney of the same name, from which the album art was taken.
