Description

This charming little promotional map was published in Coatsville, PA by Royal in 1963 on behalf of the Dutch Pantry restaurant chain. A simple outline of the Atlantic Coast identifies the location of 17 different restaurant locations, divided into the Northern and Southern Divisions.

The right side offers promotional text about the excellence of Dutch cookery and its heritage in Pennsylvania. A list of Typical Pennsylvania Dutch Expressions includes “The butter won’t reach”, “Don’t run off now, yet”, and “The boy has strubbly hair”.
