Description

This brochure covering the routes of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad was issued by the company in the spring of 1913. Its contents include timetables, traveler information, photographs, and maps covering the various resorts and outdoor retreats accessible via the railroad.

A centerfold map highlights Lake Champlain and a portion of the Hudson River between Albany and Ticonderoga, with attractively illustrated vignettes highlighting several historical scenes that took place in the region.

Additional maps, all created by the American Bank Note Company, show the route of the United Traction Company, the principal gateways to the Adirondack Region (including a profile view of the mountain range), an advertisement for the New Hotel Champlain, and the entire network of the Delaware and Hudson Railroad in relation to the rest of New England.
