A snapshot of the world on the outbreak of war.

Description
This eye-catching globe uses a negative color palette to present the world on the brink of World War II. Deep blue oceans, criss-crossed by silver trade routes, encompass a somewhat faded political overview that captures Germany after the Anschluss, but before the Munich Agreement – a narrow window of just a few months in 1938. Shortwave radio stations are also dotted throughout the surface of the globe, which sits on a sleek, hammered metal (probably aluminum) base.
