Description

This wonderful brochure is the second such edition to be published by the Denver Tourist & Publicity Bureau, and highlights accessibility throughout the region and state of Colorado via the increasingly ubiquitous automobile. Photographs of luxurious paved highways, landmarks with large touring sedans parked in the foreground, and formerly remote locations now just a short drive away are all aimed at drawing in motor tourism. Accompanying text provides detailed itineraries, tour prices, historical summaries, biographical descriptions, and much more.

A photographic panorama of downtown Denver and three maps are included. The first map is a double page centerfold showing the Peak to Peak automobile route between Long and Pikes Peak, with roads (completed and under construction), campsites, and towns noted accordingly. The National Park-to-Park Highway is shown on the second map, while a large scale plan of downtown Denver can be seen on the back cover.
