The text continues to promise the ‘finest accommodations in the middle-west for recreation or rest’, amid a host of other claims on the local climate, recreational opportunities, and natural beauty.
The map is relatively simple, and shows major transportation routes along the shores of Lake Geneva. Homes of various celebrities are labeled alongside locations of interest and local businesses, providing a fascinating snapshot from the early 1940’s.
