Description

This abstract, untitled art piece shows the iconic lion of the Art Institute with its head lopped off. It was created by Andres Nagel of Spain and was likely used to great effect to draw attention to the upcoming Chicago International Art Exposition. The event was held in Donnelley International Hall between May 14-18, 1992, and featured dozens of artists from around the globe.
