This detailed overview of the Panama–Pacific International Exposition was published in 1915 by the San Francisco-based Tourist Assocation of Central California. The pamphlet was distributed to the throngs of visitors to that year’s World’s Fair, held in the Presidio/Fort Mason to commemorate the opening of the Panama Canal and the new economic vitality of the West Coast.

The ground plan labels various amusements, transportation routes, state buildings, and other locations of interest across the ~625 acre site. Printed text on the verso provides information on many of the numerous regional attractions found just a short drive away. “Have you taken a trip to any of the Scenic Wonders and Beauty Spots in the Pleasure Land of Central California?”
