This lovely little souvenir post card map of California was drawn by John Anderson and published in San Francisco by E.F. Clements. Colorful illustrations of local products, attractions, and locations of interest are scattered across a simple transportation outline. Slot machines are noted in adjacent Nevada, and Orange County is best known for its orange groves (predating Disneyland).
According to the verso of the postcard, this example was sent from a pair of brothers on a trip to Los Angeles back to their parents in Kennewick, Washington in 1952.
